CATCH OF THE WEEK:

We’ve gotten many requests for Mint Chocolate Chip, so we’re bringing it back this week!  One of the many things Tiny and Tasty enjoy about Sweet Breams is creating new Catches of the Week every week.  However, we have noticed that many of our Breamies would like to see previous Catches of the Week more often than once a year, so we will incorporate your favourites more often.  =)

ART UPDATE:

We have two exciting announcements this week –

*  Andrew Uy’s Miso Panda is now officially sold out!  Worry not, as he will have new art on display in the coming weeks.

*  Ghost Ghost Teeth has two new pieces for Sweet Breams, “I Planned This Field Trip to the Sea to Find You” and “The Vampire Owl + The Mushroom” — as always, we love the new dimension his art brings to Sweet Breams.

*  Sweet Breams’ first group art show, “Meet Me Under The Cherry Blossoms” will be Saturday, 18 April.  We will have art from 12 very talented artists (including our resident artists) on display.  You will be able to meet most of the artists between 8P and 10P.  We will still serve taiyaki, but please be prepared for above average wait times as we are expecting a large turn out.

Cheers,

Tiny and Tasty

CATCH OF THE WEEK FOR WHITE DAY + ART, ART, ART!

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

Hello Fellow Breamies,

CATCH OF THE WEEK FOR WHITE DAY:

White Day is a holiday widely celebrated in Japan on 14 March. On White Day, males who received a gift on Valentine’s Day (generally, only females observe Valentine’s Day by purchasing gifts for males) return the favor. White chocolate is a popular gift, and so our latest Catch of the Week is White Chocolate Macadamia. White Chocolate Macadamia debuted last year, and we’re happy to see it again on our menu. We hope you enjoy it.

ART, ART, ART!:

We have two new pieces by Ghost Ghost Teeth now available in our shop:

http://ghostghostteeth.wordpress.com/2009/02/28/look-what-just-washed-up/

The photos don’t do his artwork justice, so make sure to take a look next time you stop by for a visit.

In late April, Sweet Breams will hold its first official group art show — hopefully this will be the first of many! You’ll see new art by our resident artists along with other pieces from new + very talented friends of Tiny and Tasty. More details to come as we finalise them, but we’re too excited about this event to keep the news a secret. We will reveal more about our projects in progress.

** Tiny and Tasty are now 37 weeks old (9 months!). We couldn’t have made it this far without each and everyone with you. There is no way we could ever properly express how grateful we are for all of your generosity, support, and most importantly, friendship. We’ve made the most incredible connections in the last 9 months, and that means everything to us.**

Cheers,

Tiny and Tasty
