PROJECT JAGAIMO-SAN :

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, Tiny and Tasty have been working very hard on quite a few exciting secret projects for their fellow Breamies.  We apologise for being so brief in this update, but Tiny and Tasty are extremely busy, getting Project Jagaimo-san ready for its unveiling late next week! =)

Cheers,

Tiny and Tasty

Postscript:  Don’t forget to bring your Frequent Fisher card in!  After buying 3 schools, you’ll receive our Breamie bag, plus you’ll also receive a FREE school after the purchase of 10 schools.

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Hello Fellow Breamies,

JAPANESE SNACKS

Sweet Breams now offers a variety of Japanese drinks and snacks in addition to our taiyaki!  We carry Pocky, Hi-Chews, and Gummy Choco as well as Pokka, Pocari Sweat, and Ramune.

ARTWORK BY LIZ LORINI

In the coming weeks, Sweet Breams will be showing artwork by Liz Lorini, an extremely talented illustrator who very graciously has agreed to create a few pieces of taiyaki themed art for us.  Preview her work by going to www.misskika.com.

WORKING WITH TINY AND TASTY

Thank you very much for all of your recommendations.  Tiny and Tasty are thrilled that so many people want to work with them!

CATCH OF THE WEEK:

Last, but not least, the Catch of the Week for this upcoming week is Cherries Jubilee.

We look forward to seeing you in our eighth week.

Cheers,

Tiny and Tasty

WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK WITH TINY AND TASTY?

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Hello Fellow Breamies,

WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK WITH TINY AND TASTY?

Sweet Breams is hiring!  We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, friendly, and most importantly, loves taiyaki!  This is a part-time seasonal position for the months of September through December.  If you or your friend is interested, please send an email with the subject line: SWEET BREAMS EMPLOYMENT to sweetbreams@gmail.com or submit a resume in person at 220 2nd Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94401.  References are strongly recommended.

NEW CATCH OF THE WEEK:
In honour of two of Tiny and Tasty’s very special friends, who they share a mutual love of O Totoro with, this week’s Catch of the Week is Coconut made with organic coconut!

CAT OSHIRO:

Tiny and Tasty enjoy Cat Oshiro’s art very much, and are glad that you do too!  Her piece, “Taraibune,” is now officially sold out as of two Saturdays ago.  Three or four of each of the other three prints, “Kaiju Party,” “Cupcake Ship,” and “Goodbye!” are still available.

Postscript:

There’s something new about our facade — let us know if you notice! =)

Cheers,

Tiny and Tasty

NEW SECRET MENU OPTION AND CATCH OF THE WEEK

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Hello Fellow Breamies,

NEW SECRET MENU OPTION:

BATSU!:
An additional taiyaki is slipped into your school.  But beware, it’s filled with wasabi! Recommended by friends of Tiny and Tasty — Play a Batsu! game of chance with your friends! Without looking, each person takes his or her turn by eating a taiyaki.  The person who eats the wasabi filled one loses.

CATCH OF THE WEEK:

Our latest offering is Peach Cobbler — made with fresh, real peaches.  So delicious!

A FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT OUR NEW HOURS:

We’re more than happy to come in early to make sure you get your breakfast taiyaki fix.  Just let us know the day before.  =)
Sundays:  12:30P to 7P
Tuesdays and Wednesdays:  12:30P to 8P
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 12:30P to 10P
MORNINGS BY APPOINTMENT | CLOSED MONDAYS.

Cheers,

Tiny and Tasty

Postscript:  Tiny and Tasty are working on a few secret projects…stay tuned!
